Member of the 2024 Southern Conference Tournament championship team that earned the program’s first-ever NCAA Tournament win in the Chapel Hill Regional.

CAREER: Made 38 appearances with 13 starts over three seasons of action after sitting out as a freshman… Posted a 13-5 record with a 6.70 ERA over 91.1 innings… Tallied 83 strikeouts… Named Southern Conference Pitcher of the Week once in May of 2023… Two-time member of the Southern Conference Academic Honor Roll.

2024: Made 19 appearances with seven starts… Recorded a 9-3 record with a 7.59 ERA… In 51.0 innings, totaled 51 punchouts to 19 walks… Ranked third in the SoCon with nine wins… Named All-SoCon Second Team by the media… Tossed scoreless innings against Towson (2/18) and FDU (2/23) out of the bullpen… Earned first win with 1.1 innings in relief against FDU (2/25) … Started game two of a doubleheader against Fordham (3/2), picking up the win with 4.0 scoreless innings and six strikeouts… Struck out a career-best eight batters as the starter against Lafayette (3/8) for the win… In game two of a doubleheader against The Citadel (3/23), secured the win with three strikeouts in 6.0 innings allowing just three runs, only two earned… Earned win at Charleston Southern (4/2) with only one run in 2.0 relief innings… Earned win at FIU (4/14) with just one run in 2.0 innings of relief… Pitched 2.2 scoreless and hitless innings at UNC Asheville (4/23) with two strikeouts for the win… Against Winthrop (5/1), tossed 2.0 scoreless and hitless relief frames with four punchouts for the victory… In the SoCon Tournament against ETSU (5/25), earned the win as the starter in an elimination game, striking out four to send Wofford to the SoCon Championship.

2023: Made 13 appearances with six starts… Was 4-2 on the season with a 6.23 ERA over 34.2 innings… Struck out 24 batters… Made season debut with 2.0 scoreless relief innings against Southern Illinois (2/17), allowing only one hit and striking out one… Pitched 4.0 innings with five punchouts against Winthrop (2/28) … Made first-career start at Winthrop (3/7), earning the win after 3.0 shutout innings with a strikeout and only two hits surrendered… Earned the win after 2.0 relief innings against VMI (3/25) … Earned win after 4.0 scoreless innings in a starting role at Winthrop (4/18), allowing only two hits and a walk… Started at UNC Asheville (4/25), earning win after tossing 5.0 shutout innings with a career-high seven punchouts… Named SoCon Pitcher of the Week on May 1 after his performance at UNC Asheville... Named to Southern Conference Academic Honor Roll.

2022: Appeared in six games, all in relief… Posted a 1.59 ERA over 5.2 innings with eight strikeouts… Made collegiate debut at UNC Asheville (5/4), notching his first strikeout against the only batter he faced… Pitched a scoreless inning in game one of a doubleheader against The Citadel (5/8), recording two punchouts… Struck out a batter in 0.2 innings of work against Presbyterian (5/11) … Collected career highs for strikeouts (three) and innings (2.0) in a scoreless outing at VMI (5/19).

2021: Did not see action ... Named to the Southern Conference Academic Honor Roll.

HIGH SCHOOL: A three-year varsity letterman at Dorman High School ... Was named All-Region in 2018 and 2019 ... Senior season was canceled ... As a sophomore was 7-2 overall with a 1.72 ERA and as a junior was 6-3 with a 2.17 ERA and 67 strikeouts in 70.2 innings ... Team won the 2018 State Championship and the 2019 Upper State Championship ... Competed in the 2018 Palmetto Games ... Also wrestled for the Cavaliers, reaching the third round of the playoffs in 2019 ... Member of the Beta Club and National Honor Society.

PERSONAL: Birthday is February 20... Son of Alan and Diane Eggert ... Father played baseball at Assumption College and mother played volleyball at Assumption College ... Majoring in biology.
