Member of the 2024 Southern Conference Tournament championship team that earned the program’s first-ever NCAA Tournament win in the Chapel Hill Regional.

2024: Made nine appearances, all in relief, with a 9.33 ERA and 2-0 record… Totaled 14 strikeouts in 18.1 innings… Made Terrier debut with three strikeouts in 4.2 innings against Towson (2/16), earning the win… Earned the win against Fordham (3/2) in game one of a doubleheader with 3.0 relief innings, allowing just one run with four punchouts… Pitched 3.0 innings against Presbyterian (4/16) with just one run surrendered and a strikeout… Named to the SoCon Academic Honor Roll.

PRIOR TO WOFFORD: Played two season at the University of San Diego... As a sophomore in 2023, appeared in seven of San Diego’s games, making two starts... Posted an 0-2 record across 13 innings, allowing 14 earned runs while striking out 14... Notched a season-high six strikeouts in four innings against Nebraska on February 20... As a freshman in 2022, appeared in 12 of San Diego’s games on the mound, making one start... Struck out eight batters in 11 total innings pitched... Threw 1.2 scoreless innings in his first-career start against UC San Diego on May 8... Tossed two thirds of an inning in both the WCC Tournament Championship game against Gonzaga (May 28) and USD’s matchup with No. 4 Oregon State at the NCAA Corvallis Regional (June 4).

HIGH SCHOOL: Helped his team to a 6A conference title and Oklahoma State Tournament appearance in 2021... Earned All-Conference honors in 2020 and 2021 and was named to the All-State Team in 2018 and 2020... Named to 2021 and 2020 Perfect Game Preseason All-American First Teams and was selected as a 2021 Collegiate Baseball Preseason High School All-American in addition to being named the 2018 Wilson Premier and 2021 Perfect Game MLK Most Valuable Pitcher and a 2019 Perfect Game Rawlings Pitcher All-American... Played for Team Elite Prime, the Kansas City Royals Scout Team, and Canes National baseball clubs, won the Perfect Game 17U National Elite, 17U National WWBA, PBR Classic (2020), and Northwoods League Championships (2021)... Was named a 2022 Northwoods League Top Prospect... Organized a clothing drive every December in high school and helped secure donations of approximately 300 articles of clothing for those in need... Was Edmond Santa Fe’s Valedictorian with Distinction in 2021.

PERSONAL: Birthday is October 14... Son of Preston and Heather Lunceford... Brother, Logan, plays baseball at the University of Missouri and grandfather, Monroe Owens, played football for the Norfolk Neptunes of the Atlantic Coast Football League (ACFL)... Majoring in finance.
