HIGH SCHOOL: During his senior year at Dobyns-Bennett High School, led team to the class 6A 2017 Tennessee State Tournament where they fell in the semi-final game ... Batted .396 with 21 doubles, two home runs and 41 RBIs ... Named All-Conference and All-Region ... His 21 doubles broke a 25-year old school record ...  As a junior, he was named All-Conference and All-Region with a .435 batting average and only seven strikeouts in 145 at bats ... The team was 30-7 overall and finished second in the region and the district ... During his sophomore season, the team posted a 32-8 record and won the district and region championships.
