On the mound he was 5-2 with a 1.51 ERA and 89 strikeouts in 60 innings to earn second team All-State honors along with All-Section, All-League, and All-League MVP recognition ... Named first-team All-State, All-Section, and All-League as a junior with a 14-5 record and a 2.80 ERA ... Team was back-to-back sectional champions, regional champions, and state finalists, with a postseason mark of 18-4 that was best in Briarcliff history ... Also played basketball as a junior.
