Nick Olmetti is in his first year as an assistant strength and conditioning coach at Wofford College. He joined the staff in August of 2020 after serving as a strength and conditioning soach at IMG Academy, The University of West Alabama, and Central Michigan University.
He currently assists with the strength and conditioning of Wofford football and directly oversees and implements all aspects of strength and conditioning for baseball, women’s soccer, men’s and women’s tennis.
Prior to joining the Terriers, Olmetti served as a strength and conditioning coach at IMG Academy in Bradenton, FL directly overseeing all aspects of strength and conditioning for women’s lacrosse, men’s soccer, and assisting with football and tennis. Prior to his time at IMG he served as the interim director of strength and conditioning for The University of West Alabama in Livingston, AL in the spring and summer of 2019 overseeing all aspects of strength and conditioning. He previously served as the assistant strength coach at UWA from 2017-2019. Nick’s career started as an intern strength coach from 2015-2016 at Central Michigan University.
Olmetti is a CSCCa Strength and Conditioning Coach Certified (SCCC) as well as an NSCA Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS). He received his bachelor’s degree in exercise science at Central Michigan University, and his master’s in sport management at West Alabama.

A native of Grand Rapids, MI and graduate of Grand Rapids Catholic Central High School, he was a part of a nationally renowned rugby team for four years, as well as one of the acting captains.
