Paul Spada

Paul Spada joined the Terriers in the fall of 2019 as an assistant strength and conditioning coach. Before Wofford, he was at the University of New Haven where he earned his masters degree in sport management.
 
He interned at Yale university before moving on to New Haven. He worked with the 2018 national championship lacrosse team, as well as the 2017 Ivy League championship football team. 
 
Spada's first coaching experience was at LSU where he interned primarily with the football team but also assisted women’s soccer and beach volleyball.

He received his bachelor’s degree in exercise science from Central Connecticut State University, where he was a four-year starter on the football team. 
 
Spada is a certified strength and conditioning specialist (CSCS) as well as a tactical strength and conditioning facilitator (TSAC-F) through the National Strength and Conditioning Association. He is also a certified level one club coach by USA weightlifting.
