Nate Ramsey joins the staff this season as the director of baseball operations. He will be responsible for implementing the Synergy video system, along with assisting the coaching staff with statistical analysis and player development goals.  
    
He comes to Wofford after serving as an assistant coach at Savannah State University where he was the recruiting coordinator and was responsible for the offense.
    
Ramsey was the head coach of the Wilkes University baseball team from August 2015 to September 2017. He spent one season as an assistant coach at Wilkes in 2015 working as the hitting coach and recruiting coordinator for the program before moving to the head coach position.
    
Prior to Wilkes, Ramsey served as a head coach in the Austrian Baseball Federation as well as an assistant coach at Holy Cross College in South Bend, Indiana. He also served as the hitting coach for the Rio Grande Valley Whitewings, a professional team in the United Baseball League in 2013.
     
The native of Greenville, South Carolina, received his bachelor’s degree at Bluefield State College, and obtained his Master’s Degree in Coaching Education from Ohio University in August, 2015.
