Bryan Bing was named the defensive line coach at Wofford on February 12, 2021. He recruits primarily along the I-4 corridor in Florida from Orlando to Tampa, along with the Grand Strand area in South Carolina and the counties southwest of Atlanta in Georgia.

In the 2022 season, the defensive line had six different players record sacks. Micheal Mason was named first team All-Southern Conference by the media and coaches.

During the fall of 2021, five different defensive linemen recorded sacks while ten different players earned starts on the line. Following the season, Micheal Mason was named second team All-Southern Conference and Brandon Maina and Chuck Smith earned All-Freshman team honors. During the summer of 2022, he served a Bill Walsh NFL Diversity Coaching Fellowship with the Arizona Cardinals.

He joined the Terriers a week before the first game in the spring of 2021. Micheal Mason was named All-Southern Conference and the rushing defense was ranked fourth in the Southern Conference.
    
He spent two seasons as a defensive graduate assistant at Pitt. In 2020, the Panthers were 6-5 overall and 5-5 in the ACC. The team was ranked first in the nation in sacks and tackles for loss. Senior defensive ends Patrick Jones II and Rashad Weaver each earned consensus All-America status for the 2020 season. The Panthers were 8-5 in 2019, along with a 4-4 ACC record. They advanced to the Quick Lane Bowl, where they picked up a 34-30 win over Eastern Michigan. The defense was ranked first in the nation in total defense and first in sacks. Jaylen Twyman was named first team All-ACC, with Patrick Jones II (second team) and Amir Watts (honorable mention) also being honored.
  
Bing arrived at Pitt after serving as the defensive tackles coach at Butler University during the 2018 season. He was a defensive graduate assistant at Kent State in 2017, helping the Golden Flashes boast Mid-American Conference top-3 rankings in third-down defense (15th FBS), pass defense (27th FBS) and tackles for loss (47th FBS).
    
In 2016 he was the running backs coach at Heidelberg University, where he mentored All-Ohio Athletic Conference performer Bryan Lacey, one of the most prolific rushers in recent program history.
    
A standout linebacker at Methodist (N.C.) University from 2011-15, Bing finished his career third in school history with 316 tackles. He was a three-time All-USA South Athletic Conference honoree and two-time All-South Region selection. In addition to his exploits on the field, Bing was also a five-time USA South All-Academic Team honoree.
    
A native of Bradenton, Fla., Bing earned his bachelor’s degree in criminal justice from Methodist in 2015. He went on to earn a master’s degree in sport recreation and management from Kent State in 2018.
