Shaw Crocker joined the staff in February of 2023 as offensive quality control. He will work primarily with the quarterbacks. He was named the quarterbacks coach in the summer of 2024.
During the 2024 season, the Terriers were 5-7 overall. The offense tied a school record for completions in a season with 188 and were second in passing yards in a season. Amari Odom started eight games and among single season leaders at Wofford finished second in completions, third in passing yards, and second in passing attempts as he earned SoCon All-Freshman Team honors.
In his first season with the Terriers, three different quarterbacks started games. Overall the trio, which included a pair of freshmen, threw for 1,368 yards.Â
As a graduate student at Wingate in 2022, he played in all 14 games with 197 completions of 357 passes for 2,509 yards and 26 touchdowns, along with 107 carries for 289 yards and five touchdowns. The team reached the quarterfinals of the NCAA Playoffs in 2022, the second round in 2018 and the first round in 2019. He was named All-SAC first team in 2019. During his career he played in 52 games over six seasons with 690 completions and 9,543 passing yards, along with a school-record 94 touchdowns. He was twice named CoSIDA Academic All-District and also earned SAC Commissioner’s Honor Roll recognition.
He graduated with a degree in mathematics and education in 2021 and added a master of arts in sport management. A native of Greenville, S.C. he played quarterback at Palmetto High School.
