HIGH SCHOOL: A four-year starter at running back for William Amos Hough High School, earning All-Conference honors all four seasons ... During his senior season had 158 carries with 1,694 total yards and 20 touchdowns ... As a junior he had 143 carries with 1,296 total yards and 17 touchdowns ... Added All-State honors twice as well and was named to the Shrine Bowl ... As a freshman the team won a state championship, while reaching the semifinals as a sophomore and junior  ...
