Jacob Titus joined the staff in June of 2022 as defensive quality control and he moved to offensive quality control in February of 2023. In July of 2023 he assumed the role of director of football operations and on-campus recruiting. In this position he manages the day-to-day operations of the program. He plans and coordinates team travel, organizes official visits and is a liaison with the compliance office on recruiting. In addition, he oversees the equipment staff.
At Limestone in 2021, he worked with the wide receivers during practice and was in charge of the scout team defense. Titus began his coaching career as a student assistant at the University of South Carolina. With the Gamecocks, he worked with the offense, defense and recruiting staffs. He assisted with opponent studies, breakdowns and self-scouts.
A native of Winter Garden, Florida, Titus lettered in football, soccer and track and field at Foundation Academy. He played quarterback for two seasons at Huntingdon College before graduating from the University of South Carolina with a degree in political science in December of 2020.
