Matthew Turner joined the staff in February of 2025 as defensive quality control. He works primarily with the inside linebackers. The defense was ranked first in the SoCon and 40th in the nation in 2025 as the team was 6-6 overall.Â
He spent three seasons as a defensive student assistant at Clemson. He prepared weekly scouting reports and charted data during practices and games. In addition he was a camp instructor with the Dabo Swinney Football Camps, working with linebackers.
A native of Roswell, Georgia, Turner played football and baseball at Blessed Trinity Catholic High School. He earned a bachelor of science degree in business management with a minor in athletic leadership in December of 2024 from Clemson.
