Spencer Fox joined the staff in the summer of 2022 as offensive quality control. He will work primarily with associate head coach Shawn Watson and the quarterbacks this season.
He served as quality control at Western Michigan University during the 2021 football season, primarily with the runnings backs and special team.
While filling the role of quarterbacks coach at Anderson University, Fox coached Tyson Harley, who was tabbed Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference (HCAC) Freshman of the Year in 2019. Harley led the nation in completions per game and ranked third in passing yards per game. He also set single-game records for passing yards and completions.
Fox competed for four years as quarterback at Franklin College, winning three conference championships and posting a 32-9 overall record. He graduated in 2019 with a degree in public relations.
A native of Cincinnati, Ohio, he played football at Cincinnati Christian School. Fox earned a Masters of Business Administration from Anderson University in 2021. He resides in Spartanburg with his wife, Libby.
