Member of the 2024 Southern Conference Tournament championship team that earned the program’s first-ever NCAA Tournament win in the Chapel Hill Regional.

2024: Made 17 appearances with 10 starts… Had a 4-3 record with a 4.28 ERA and two saves… Totaled 57 strikeouts in 75.2 innings… Named to the SoCon All-Freshman Team… Made debut out of the bullpen with 2.0 scoreless innings against Towson (2/18), earning the win with one hit, no walks and three strikeouts… Pitched 5.0 scoreless relief innings against Kennesaw State (2/21) with four punchouts… Hurled 3.0 scoreless innings in relief at Charlotte (2/27) with three punchouts… Earned first save at Charleston (3/16) with 3.0 innings of one-run ball with no walks and one strikeout… Pitched 3.0 scoreless innings in game two of a doubleheader against The Citadel (3/23) to record a save with just one hit and one walk with two strikeouts… Struck out six over 5.0 innings out of the bullpen at VMI (3/30) … Made first start against UNCG (4/6) with 7.0 innings and just one hit and one run (unearned) allowed and three strikeouts for the win… Despite taking the loss at FIU (4/13), struck out a career-high seven batters… Pitched 4.0 scoreless frames at Gardner-Webb (5/5) as the starter in the first game of a doubleheader… Earned the win against Western Carolina (5/23) in the SoCon Tournament with 6.0 innings pitched and one run surrendered alongside four punchouts… Started game two of the SoCon Championship against Samford (5/26), tossing 6.1 innings with only three earned runs allowed and three punchouts for the victory… Tossed 4.0 innings against LSU (6/2) as the starter in the Chapel Hill Regional, allowing three runs with no walks and six strikeouts… Named to the SoCon Academic Honor Roll.

HIGH SCHOOL: Helped his Viera High School team win a pair of district titles alongside a region championship in 2021... The righty owned a 2.04 ERA and 58 strikeouts while holding the opposition to a .184 average... Also a member of his school's golf team, winning a Cape Coast Conference championship in 2019... Outside of sports, Wicker has worked with the Special Olympics and Children's Hunger Project.

PERSONAL: Birthday is February 5... Son of Christopher and Jessica Wicker... Father and uncle, Peter, both player lacrosse at Western New England... Undecided on a major.
