2010-11: Played in 14 games and scored 15 points ...All fifteen points were on three point shots ... Added two rebounds and two assists ... Against USC Upstate (11/18) in the Charleston Classic played nine minutes and was 1-of-2 from behind the arc ... Also had a three pointer against Chattanooga (1/20) along with a rebound ... Against Samford (1/22) was 1-of-2 from behind the arc for three points ... Hit a three pointer at Samford (2/16) ... Added another three at Chattanooga (2/23) ... Named to the Southern Conference Academic Honor Roll. 

2009-10: Saw action in nine games ... Scored a total of eleven points along with three rebounds ... Played extensively against Lees-McRae (11/19), hitting a three pointer and pulling down one rebound ... Also hit a three at Michigan State (12/4) ... At UNC Greensboro (1/7) had one rebound ... Was 2-for-2 on free throws against UNC Greensboro (2/6) and at Davidson (2/17) ... Named to the Southern Conference Academic Honor Roll.

2008-09: Played in five games on the season ... Saw first action of the season at Clemson (11/19) ... Against Union (12/17) had a steal ... At South Carolina (1/5), made his only field goal attempt for two points ... Also saw two minutes on the floor at Davidson (1/24) ... Named to the Southern Conference Academic Honor Roll.

High School: Three-year letterman and two-year starter at Daniel High School for coach Jeff Maness ...Holds Daniel High School records for three-pointers made in a season and made in a career ... Captain as a senior as team won the Western AAA region title ... Named All-Region as a senior and junior ...  Named team MVP as a junior and senior ... As a senior, started every game and averaged 16.9 ppg with 100 three-pointers made ... Added 2.2 steals per game and three rebounds per game ... Against Seneca his senior season, scored 32 points including 10-of-14 three pointers ...During his junior year, started all but one game and averaged 17.9 ppg along with hitting 92 three-pointers ... Also had 2.2 steals per game and 3 rebounds per game ... Played five games as a sophomore, moving up from the junior varsity mid-season ... Also played golf as a senior, earning team MVP honors ... A Wendy’s High School Heisman nominee ... Participated in Palmetto Boys State.

Personal: Son of Todd and Tracy Steelman ... Born December 30, 1989 ... Father is associate head coach of the Ball State women’s basketball team ... Todd Steelman previously was an assistant coach of the women’s basketball team at Clemson University and Rice University ... He  played one season of basketball at North Texas University ... Majoring in business economics.
