Paul Koier enters his first season with the Wofford basketball staff as an athletic performance coach.
Prior to Wofford, Koier spent two years as a Graduate Assistant and one year as an intern with the Virginia Commonwealth University men’s basketball program. Prior to this, Koier held a summer internship with the University of North Carolina at Charlotte where he was able to work with men’s and women’s basketball, men’s and women’s tennis, and women’s soccer.
Koier played four years of college basketball at Wisconsin Lutheran College and saw action in over 80 games while being named a NACC Scholar-Athlete. He received a Bachelor's Degree in Sport and Exercise Science in May of 2019. In May of 2022 he earned a Master of Sport Leadership degree from VCU.
A native of Menomonee Falls, Wisconsin, he is certified through the National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA) with his Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS).
