HIGH SCHOOL: A four-year letterman at Dorman High School ... As a senior, batted .320 with 17 runs scored and 16 RBIs, along with seven stolen bases ... Added 13.2 innings on the mound with a 1.53 ERA ...  During his junior season, had a .420 batting average with 21 RBIs and 15 runs scored ...Posted a 2.50 ERA in 46.2 innings on the mound  as he earned team MVP honors ...
