Biography

A hard-throwing righthander who could be one of Wofford’s weekend starters if healthy . . . Established himself as one of the league’s top hurlers during his first two seasons as he saved 11 games as Wofford’s closer . . . Throws in the 90s with an outstanding breaking ball with superb control . . . If healthy, could be a premier pitcher in the Southern Conference . . . Could be used as a starter or reliever depending on his availability . . . 2006: Junior season was off to a great start before being sidelined with an injury . . . Was 2-1 with a 4.15 ERA in six starts . . . Left the game vs. Davidson (March 11) with stiffness in his forearm . . . Was the starting pitcher in the second game of Wofford’s season-opening doubleheader with Longwood . . . It was his first start since his freshman year . . . Yielded just four hits and did not allow a run over six innings while striking out five . . . The Terriers were 5-1 in his six starts . . .
