On the season had 1,775 passing yards and 25 touchdowns, along with 524 rushing yards and seven rushing touchdowns to earn All-Area honors ... As a junior, he led the team to a 15-1 record and a state championship ... Was named first team All-Conference and All-Triad with 45 passing touchdowns on the season ...
