Alexandria Simmons-Falmoe joined the Wofford staff as a volunteer assistant in the fall of 2022. She spent the previous two seasons on the coaching staff at Erskine College.
While at Erskine, she served as hitting coach as well as working with the team’s outfielders.
Prior to Erskine, Simmons-Falmoe was on the coaching staff at The University of South Carolina Beaufort for over six years and worked with infielders while assisting with offense. In addition to her coaching responsibilities, Simmons completed administrative tasks, including travel, fundraising and academic progress of student-athletes.
Collegiately, she played her junior and senior years at the University of South Carolina-Beaufort after beginning her college career at Florence Darlington Technical College.
In her two seasons with the Sand Sharks, the team posted an overall record of 82-17, which included one appearance at the NAIA Opening Round, one Sun Conference Regular Season Championship, one Sun Conference Tournament Championship and a Sun Conference Tournament Runner-Up. She was an All-Sun Conference shortstop in her senior campaign, batting .405 with a school-record 17 single season doubles, 9 homeruns and a team high of 45 RBIS.
Simmons and her husband Adam Falmoe, have one son William and a stepson Nickolas.
