Amanda Parris enters her fifth season with the Terriers serving as an assistant coach and recruiting coordinator. During the 2020-21 season, the team was 13-11 overall and reached the Southern Conference Tournament Championship game for the first time in school history. It also marked the third straight season with a .500 or better record.
Following the regular season, Lilly Hatton was named to the All-SoCon Second Team by both the coaches and media, while Jamari McDavid was named to the All-SoCon Third Team by the media and was the recipient of the Ann Lashley Inspiration Award.
The 2019-2020 season saw the team finish with its best conference record in program history at 8-6 and a 15-15 overall record. Lilly Hatton was honored as Freshman of the Year, while Chloe Wanink, Da’Ja Green, and Cairo Booker received All-Conference accolades as well.
During the 2018-19 season a program-best five Terriers earned places on All-Southern Conference teams: Chloe Wanink (First Team), Da’Ja Green (Second/Third Team), Cairo Booker (Third/All-Defensive Team), Niyah Lutz and Jackie Carman (All-Freshman Team).
Da’Ja Green earned All-SoCon second team honors and All-Freshman Team honors for the 2017-18 season in addition to Jamari McDavid being named to the All-Freshman team.
Prior to Wofford, Parris spent time as an assistant coach at Gannon University with head coach Jim Brunelli. She worked primarily with the guards, in addition to recruiting, scouting opponents, film breakdown, directing summer camps, academic advising, and organizing travel.

Parris played four seasons (2010-13) under Brunelli at Anderson (S.C.) University. Following her playing career, Parris served as an assistant coach for the Trojans during the 2013-14 and 2014-15 seasons, working with Garrity. Anderson went 27-5 during her final campaign, advancing to the South Atlantic Conference (SAC) Championship and NCAA Division II Sweet Sixteen. She spent the 2015-16 season as a graduate assistant coach at NCAA Division II Henderson State, where she earned a masters degree in sports administration.

Parris helped Brunelli win two conference titles at Anderson during her four-year collegiate playing career. A four-year letterwinner and three-year team captain, Parris saw action in 111 games and scored 721 points at the guard position. She started 77 contests during that time span. She began her playing career on a high note by being named to the Conference Carolinas All-Tournament Team as a freshman. Parris headlined her senior season by averaging 7.7 points and converting 55 three pointers.

The Rome, Ga., native graduated from Anderson in 2014 with a bachelor’s degree in physical education.
