Jessica Ridgill

Jessica Ridgill recently completed her third season as an assistant women's basketball coach in 2013-14. She returned to Wofford for the 2011-12 season after a stellar four-year playing career with the Terriers.

Prior to joining the Wofford staff for the 2011-12 season, Ridgill spent the past eight seasons, 2003-2011, on the coaching staff at Erskine College.  She spent her first five season with the Flying Fleet as an assistant coach before transitioning into the heading coaching position in 2008.  During her tenure as head coach, Ridgill tied the school record for wins in a single season (17).  In her first season at the helm, she was voted Conference Carolinas Coach of the year and set a school record for points per game (83) finishing fifth in the NCAA in scoring.

As a player, Ridgill ran the point for the Terriers from 1998-02. She finished her career with 387 career assists, which currently ranks third in the Wofford record books, and is also ranked sixth for assists in a single season with 117 in 1999-00. Adding to her playing accomplishments, Ridgill held the school record for assists in a single game with 13 in February of 2000, before Rachel Brittenham broke that mark with 15 in 2011.

A native of Manning, S.C., Ridgill has her B.A. in Business Economics.
