Named to the 2007 5-A all-state squad by the Arkansas Activities Association … received all-state and all-conference honors as a sophomore and junior … member of the West squad for the 2007 Arkansas High School Coaches’ Association All-Star Game … only representative of her high school’s team in the contest and just one of two from 5-A schools … became the first female in her high school’s girl’s basketball history to sign with a Division I program … began playing the sport in eighth grade … scored 12 points in a win against Conway High School in the 2006 Cingular Wampus Cat Invitational … netted 11 points in a victory over Charleston High School in December 2006 … coached by Shirley Goodnight … also a member of her high school’s volleyball squad … played for the Arkansas Belles AAU basketball team.
