Biography
HIGH SCHOOL: Macuga lettered in four seasons for Lassiter High School in Marietta, Georgia. In her senior season, Macuga helped Lassiter to a 20-1 overall record and the 6A state championship. During her first three years, she helped her team to two district titles and three state finals appearances. She earned first team All-Region honors in all four seasons and was named the defensive MVP of her team three times. Macuga scored the game winning penalty kick to send her team to the 6A state playoffs her freshman season. Beyond soccer, she lettered in track and field, setting records in 4x100 relays, 4x400 relays, and 400m dash. Academically, Macuga is an honor roll student and earned her school’s Presidential Academic Award.
PERSONAL: Born on November 18, 1997 in Marietta, Ga... Daughter of Angela Macuga... Plans to major in psychology.
