Biography

Member of the 2023-24 back-to-back Southern Conference Tournament Championship squads that made NCAA Tournament appearances. The first of each were firsts for any Wofford women’s team sport.

2024: Played 121 sets across all 32 matches, starting each one… Totaled 152 kills and 133 blocks… Averaged 1.26 kills per set and 1.10 blocks per set… Led the Southern Conference in total blocks and was second in blocks per set… Finished season with the fifth-highest block total in program history and the seventh-highest blocking rate in program history… Recorded 49 solo blocks, fifth most in a season in program history… Recorded five or more blocks in nine matches… Named SoCon Defensive Player of the Week on November 11… Opened season with eight kills and four blocks against Georgia Southern (8/30), and added 10 kills the same day against North Alabama… Posted five blocks against Auburn (8/31) … Recorded five blocks against Winthrop (9/12) and followed with eight against Clemson (9/13) … Notched three blocks against No. 15 Tennessee (9/16) in Wofford’s historic upset victory… Eight kills at The Citadel (10/5) with four blocks… Against Mercer (10/19), recorded six blocks… Had nine blocks in back-to-back matches against Western Carolina (11/8) and ETSU (11/9) … Notched a career-best 10 denials at Furman (11/16), tied for the third-highest total in a four-set match in program history… In the SoCon Tournament, recorded seven blocks against ETSU (11/23) in the semifinals… In the championship against Mercer (11/24), notched eight blocks with nine kills, including the clincher in the fifth set to complete the reverse sweep comeback… Recorded four kills in the NCAA Tournament at Baylor (12/5) … Named to the Black and Gold Invitational All-Tournament Team.

2023: Played 29 sets across 11 matches with one start… Totaled 35 kills with 14 blocks… Made season debut against South Carolina State (9/1) with seven kills and four blocks… In Wofford’s historic win at Virginia (9/16), tallied six kills with two blocks… Made first start at UNCG (10/6) with four kills and four blocks.

2022: Played 22 sets across 14 matches… Recorded 20 kills, eight digs, 13 blocks and 29.5 points… Set career high for kills with seven against South Carolina State (9/16) … At Mercer (10/14), swatted four total blocks for a new career best, including three solo blocks.

HIGH SCHOOL: Helped St. Pius High School amass a 52-1 record for her career, including a pair of region and state championships... Having won a pair of titles while also notching a state runner-up finish at St. Pius, Rakoski holds 944 kills on a career .346 hitting, 340 blocks and 72 aces while being named to the 5A All-Star team for her performances... With her club squad, finished five seasons at open-level play in championship brackets for both NIT’s and AAU’s and awarded AVCA Best & Brightest 2021...  Academically, Rakoski has been named to the President's List at St. Pius High School, in addition to volunteering within the community through means such as packaging and distributing food for the hungry.

PERSONAL: Birthday is October 14... Daughter of Warren and Rebecca Rakoski... Majoring in mathematics.
