Kamryn Sherman enters her first season as an assistant coach on the Wofford volleyball staff. She was hired August 7, 2015.
Sherman’s primary will primarily work with Wofford’s setters and offensive system.
“Kamryn is such a competitor and a tireless worker,” said head coach Lynze Roos upon the announcement of Sherman’s hire. “She will bring a great level of skill and instruction to the gym. I'm excited to see this team grow under her.”
Sherman recently ended her collegiate playing career, spending three seasons at Clemson and her final year of eligibility at Armstrong Atlantic State. In three years at Clemson, Sherman had 632 assists, 187 digs and 33 aces. She was selected for the USA Volleyball Women’s National Team Tryout from 2011-13 in Colorado Springs, touring with the team to China in 2013. She also traveled with the USA Volleyball Junior National Team in 2012 to London and Croatia.

Upon graduating from Clemson, Sherman transferred to Armstrong Atlantic State to earn her Master’s degree and exhaust her final year of eligibility on the court. In her one season at Armstrong Atlantic, she averaged 11.25 assists, 2.47 digs and 0.51 aces per set on her way to garnering AVCA All-America honors and AVCA All-Region First Team honors. She was also named Peach Belt Conference Setter of the Year and First Team All-Peach Belt. The Pirates finished with a record of 30-3, advancing to the NCAA Division II Sweet 16.

Sherman holds a Bachelor of Arts in political science with a minor in Spanish from Clemson. This past May, she earned her Master of Arts in professional communications and leadership from Armstrong Atlantic State.
