Benny Radicia joined the Wofford staff in January of 2026. He will work primarily with the safeties.
Last season with the Terriers, he began his coaching career as a student assistant due to a injury. Wofford went 6-6 overall and the defense was ranked first in the Southern Conference.
He played linebacker at Wofford, starting five of 31 games played. He recorded 90 total tackles in his career, with 4.5 tackles for loss, 2.0 sacks, and an interception. He spent the 2021 season at Iowa Western.
A native of Omaha, Nebraska, Radicia was a three-year letterman at Omaha Westside at middle linebacker. As a senior in 2021 the team was 12-0 and won a state championship. He recorded 145 total tackles with 28 tackles for loss, eight sacks and five forced fumbles as he earned first team All-State, first team All-Nebraska and first team All-Metro honors.
He earned his degree in finance from Wofford in December of 2025.
