Jaylin Dickerson 2026 HS

Jaylin Dickerson

Jaylin Dickerson joined the Wofford staff in February of 2026. He will work with the cornerbacks. 
   
He spent the 2024 and 2025 seasons as the cornerbacks coach at Murray State University. Bryan Pulley was ranked second in the MVFC and 12th in the nation in passes defended in 2025. 
   
Dickerson began his coaching career at South Carolina in 2022 as a defensive assistant working with the cornerbacks and safeties. He built game plans, opponent scouting reports and weekly adjustments. The team participated in the 2022 Gator Bowl. He worked with freshmen All-Americans Nick Emmanwori (2022), DQ Smith (2022) and Jalon Kilgore (2023). In addition, several players went on to be selected in the NFL Draft, including Emmanwori in the second round in 2025 to the Seattle Seahawks. 
   
As a player, Dickerson played four seasons at South Carolina. He earned the 2020-21 Gamecock Leadership Award and represented South Carolina on the SEC Football Leadership Council. 
   
A native of Southern Pines, N.C., he was named conference Defensive Player of the Year at Pinecrest High School. He earned his degree in psychology from the University of South Carolina in 2021.
