Baseball Announces Signings

SPARTANBURG, SC – Wofford College baseball coach Todd Interdonato has announced that ten student-athletes have either signed National Letters of Intent or committed to join the Terriers in the fall of 2014.
 
The group includes four pitchers, three infielders, an outfielder, and two catchers. Six different states are represented.

McClain Bradley is a 5-11, 195 pound outfielder from Atlanta, Georgia. A three-year letterman at The Westminster Schools, as a senior he batted .358 in 33 games. He was named an Under Armour Preseason All-American and Perfect Game Preseason All-American. During his junior season he had a .429 batting average and was named first team All-Region. He also was a three-year letterman in football.
 
Grant Byers is a 6-2, 215 pound right-handed pitcher from Shelby, N.C. As a junior he was 7-3 overall on the mound with a 1.70 ERA at Shelby High School. He struck out 103 batters in 68.2 innings as he was named South Mountain Athletic Conference Player of the Year and earned All-NCHSAA honors. He was an Under Armour Preseason All-American, but missed his senior season due to Tommy John surgery.
 
Will Fuqua is a 6-0, 175 pound left-handed pitcher from Greenville, South Carolina. He was a three-year letterman at J.L. Mann High School. During his senior season, he was 2-0 with a 2.23 ERA in limited action due to injury. He was a Perfect Game All-American honorable mention in the fall of 2014.
 
David Ehmen, a 6-2, 180 pound left-handed pitcher, is from Johns Creek, Georgia. As a senior at Northview High School, he posted a 6-2 record with a 1.66 ERA. He had 71 strikeouts in 59 innings pitching and threw five complete games with one no hitter. A four-year letterman, he earned first team All-Region honors as a junior and senior. During his junior year was 7-0 with a 2.30 ERA and 50 strikeouts in 53 innings.
 
Alex Malsch is a 6-2, 170 pound infielder from Greer, South Carolina. A four-year starter at shortstop for St. Joseph's Catholic School, the team has won three straight Class A state championships. He was a first team All-State selection as a junior and senior, along with three All-Region accolades.
 
Max McDougald, a 5-9, 150 pound infielder from Anderson, South Carolina, was a four-year starter at T.L. Hanna High School. During his senior season, he batted .317 as the team won region and district championships. He was named the team's offensive and defensive MVP. As a junior, he had a .338 batting average with ten stolen bases.
 
Cody Miller is a 6-0, 180 pound catcher from Newhall, California. A three-year starter at Hart High School, he batted .333 during his senior season playing primarily third base. He led the team in home runs, RBIs, and doubles as the team won the league title. An Under Armour Preseason All-American, he earned first team All-League honors and played in the Southern California All-Star game.
 
Mack Nathanson, a 6-1, 190 pound catcher from Delray Beach, Florida, was a three-year starter at North Broward Preparatory. As a senior, he batted .298 as the team won region and district championships. He was named to the Miami Herald All-County second team and was a High School Baseball Network All-Star. During his junior year, he hit .427 and earned first team All-County honors from the Miami Herald.
 
Adam Scott is a 6-3, 220 pound left-handed pitcher from Canandaigua, New York. A four-year starter at Canandaigua Academy, during his senior season he posted a 6-3 record in nine starts with 96 strikeouts in 59.1 innings to earn All-Greater Rochester honors. He also saw time at first base, hitting .377 on the year as the team won the league championship. In addition, he lettered twice in basketball.
 
Trace Witt, a 6-0, 185 pound infielder from Boiling Springs, South Carolina, was a four-year starter at shortstop for Boiling Spring High School. As a senior, he was named a North-South All-Star along with All-Region and Spartanburg Herald-Journal All-Area first team honors. He was named to the Spartanburg Herald-Journal All-Academic team as a junior and senior. He also played football for three seasons.
 
The eligibility of all student-athletes is contingent upon admission to Wofford College and compliance with all NCAA rules, including registration with the NCAA Eligibility Center.
