After taking a two point lead into the second quarter, the Bulldogs outscored the Terriers, 25-9, to take a 14 point lead into halftime. The Bulldogs remained hot from the field in the second half and converted 11 of 14 free throw attempts to prevent the Terriers from mounting a comeback.

The Bulldogs stretched their lead due to 10 first half offensive rebounds, while the Terriers grabbed just 11 defensive rebounds.

Despite another strong shooting performance in the third quarter, the Terriers were unable to cut into the Bulldogs lead. UNC Asheville was able to increase their lead to 15 points largely due to eight free throw attempts and four more offensive rebounds.

In the fourth quarter, the Terriers were unable to trim the Bulldogs lead to single digits, as UNC Asheville sealed the game with a strong shooting effort in the final period.

The Bulldogs were led by Khaila Webb, who scored 22 points on 10 of 13 from the field. UNC Asheville shot 51.7% from the field, compared to the Terriers 49.1%.
