DELAND, FLA. – The Wofford women's soccer team fell to Stetson, 4-0, on Sunday afternoon in Deland, Florida.

Sarah Collins and Adrianna Suarez netted two goals each for the Hatters in the victory.

The first half was controlled by Stetson, as it did not take them long to jump out to a lead. In the 4
th minute, Collins found the back of the net for the seventh time on the season off an assist from Emily Plotz. 12 minutes later, Suarez scored off an assist from Collins to extend the Hatters' lead to 2-0. Finally, in the 21
st minute, Collins registered her fourth point of the half, with an assist on Suarez's second goal of the half to give Stetson a 3-0 lead at the break.

In the second half, the Terriers were much more aggressive, attempting seven of their eight shot attempts in the period. The defense improved as well, as they held Stetson to just one more goal in the half.

For the Terriers,
Rachel Shinnick and
Elise Fennegan tied for the team lead in shot attempts, with two each. Goalkeeper
Alex King made her first appearance of the season for Wofford, making two saves in the second half.

Brianna LaFontant was the only Terrier to play all 90 minutes.

Overall, Stetson outshot Wofford, 18-8, but the Terriers held a 5-4 advantage in saves.
