SPARTANBURG, S.C. – In Friday night's Southern Conference opener, the Wofford volleyball team fell 3-0 (25-19, 25-17, 25-21) to UNC Greensboro at Benjamin Johnson Arena.
Wofford is now 7-8 (0-1 SoCon) on the season, while UNCG improves to 6-7 overall and 1-0 in conference play. Freshman setter

Colleen Reilly led the offensive attack as Bossert hit .375 on eight attempts and Reilly racked up a team high 10 kills.
As a team, the Terriers hit .083 in the match while the Spartans totaled a hitting percentage of .298, including a 78% effort in the first set. Three different Spartans tallied nine or more kills and setter Allison Penner recorded 39 assists on the night.
The Terriers have a quick turnaround, hosting SoCon foe Mercer Saturday at 6 p.m. in the Ben Johnson Arena. The Mercer Bears are 9-4 on the season and coming off a 3-1 road win over The Citadel.
