SPARTANBURG, S.C. – The Wofford women's tennis team cruised to a 7-0 win over North Greenville on Tuesday afternoon at Reeves Tennis Center.

The win snaps the team's two game losing streak and improves them to 5-0 at home this season.

Playing in the no. 2 doubles position,
Catherine Martin and
Lauren Reid quickly took care of the Crusaders tandem of Fernanda de Lucca and Kylie Sandusky, 6-0. On the season, Martin and Reid own a 9-1 doubles record.

The Terriers took the doubles point after
Cassidy Hicks and
Kalli Karas won their match, 6-1, playing in the no. 1 slot.

With a 1-0 lead heading into singles play, Wofford continued their solid overall play. In the no. 4 position,
Lauren Reid raced to a 6-1, 6-0 win, before Karas took care of her opponent in the no. 3 spot, 6-2, 6-0.

Needing just one more point to clinch the match, Hicks won the decisive match, 6-3, 6-2, over the Crusaders' Camille Duhan to put the win in the books for the Terriers.

With the match already won,
Catherine Martin,
Taylor Carlson, and
Curran Carver each took their respective matches to give the team their third 7-0 win of the season. Carver improved her singles record to 6-2 on the year.
