SPARTANBURG, S.C. – The Wofford women's tennis easily took care of King University (Tenn.), 7-0, on Sunday afternoon at Reeves Tennis Center.<br />

The win pushes the team's overall record to 6-2 and is their fourth straight victory. The Terriers are now 4-0 at home this season.<br />
 <br />
After winning one doubles match by default, Wofford's two doubles teams that competed delivered stellar performances, winning 6-0. The teams of
Cassidy Hicks and
Kalli Karas, along with
Catherine Martin and
Lauren Reid did not drop a game on the way to clinching the first point of the match.<br />
 <br />
In singles play, the Terriers took two points by default, which meant they only needed to win once to win the match. Both Hicks and Karas won their matches, 6-0, 6-0, at the no. 2 and 3 positions to ensure a Wofford victory and improve their records to a team best 6-2.<br />

Playing in the no. 4 spot, freshman
Annie Mayfield delivered a 6-2, 6-0 victory in her first match as a Terrier. Senior
Catherine Martin also won, 6-3, 6-3, to give the team a clean 7-0 win.<br />
 <br />
Up next, the Terriers will take to the road to play at Charleston Southern next Saturday, Feb. 11 at 1 p.m.<br />
