BOONE, N.C. - Grace Massengill tied for fourth place as the Wofford women's golf team completed action in the Hound Ears Invitational on Tuesday.
As a team, the Terriers finished in sixth place overall, posting a score of 328 on Monday and following up with a 327 on Tuesday to total 655 for the tournament. The tournament was won by William & Mary which totaled 630 for the tournament.
Massengill was consistent, shooting a 6-over-par 78 on Monday before duplicating the effort on Tuesday to finish with a 12-over-par 156. Sophomore
Anna Eddy fired an 81 and an 84 to finish tied for 17th.
Becca Earl and
Emma King each finished with a 167. Earl opened with an 85 in round one, finishing with an 82 on Tuesday. King, a freshman like Earl, posted an 84 on Monday before finishing with an 83 on Tuesday.
Lawson Devers, also a freshman, totaled 203 in the two rounds.
