SPARTANBURG, S.C. – The No. 4 seeded Wofford men's soccer team prepares to host No. 5 seed UNCG at Snyder Field in the quarterfinals of the 2018 Southern Conference Men's Soccer Championship on Saturday night. UNCG looks to avenge their loss to the Terriers from last month, as Wofford is an even 3-3 in SoCon play while the Spartans hold a 2-2-2 mark in conference.

THE MATCHUP: In their last meeting on October 9, 2018, the Terriers came out victorious in double overtime, 2-1, as
Connor Donohue netted a goal in the 108
th minute to give Wofford its first SoCon win of the season. Saturday's match will be the 32
nd meeting between the two teams, with Wofford trailing the all-time series record 7-23-1. The Terriers are 4-10-1 when hosting UNCG at Snyder Field.

DID YOU KNOW: The last time the Terriers hosted a SoCon Tournament match at Snyder Field was November 13, 2009, when No. 1 seeded Wofford defeated No. 4 seed UNCG, 3-1.

LAST TIME OUT: The Terriers prevailed on Senior Night last Saturday, with a 2-1 double overtime win over USC Upstate at Snyder Field, finishing the regular season 5-10-1 overall and 3-3 in conference. UNCG wrapped up conference play at home, beating Furman, 1-0, on Saturday to finish the regular season 6-8-2 overall and 2-2-2 in conference.

WHAT'S NEXT: Mercer will face either No. 4 seed Wofford or No. 5 seed UNCG in the SoCon semifinals on Nov. 9 in Johnson City, Tenn at ETSU's Summers-Taylor Stadium.
