SENIOR DAY: The Presbyterian game marks the final regular season home contest for 16 Wofford seniors. The group includes:
Spencer Alverson,
Miles Brown,
Cole Cleary,
Ross Hammond,
Armani Helligar,
Billy Hinton,
Campbell Jackson,
Domo Lemon,
Graham Massey,
Lennox McAfee,
Weston Rountree,
Andre Stoddard,
JoJo Tillery,
Tyler Traynham,
Devin Watson and
Brandon Zamary. In the past four years they have a 32-16 overall record and won the 2017 Southern Conference Championship, along with NCAA FCS Playoff appearances in 2016 and 2017. They will be honored pregame.
SOCON STANDINGS: With one week left in the season, the conference standings are becoming a bit more clear. Wofford (6-2) is in second place. ETSU is at 6-1 and has secured at least a share of the title before hosting Samford this weekend. Furman is one game back of the Terriers at 5-2 and has Mercer remaining on the schedule. Here are the scenarios:
• ETSU wins, they are the sole champions
• ETSU loss and a Furman loss, Wofford and ETSU tie for the championship with Wofford the AQ
• ETSU loss and a Furman win, all three tie for the title. Since all three are 1-1 against each other, the team's record against the 4th place team, etc. is considered. Furman, Wofford and ETSU all would have wins over Mercer (4-4), Chattanooga (4-4), The Citadel (4-4), Western Carolina (1-7) and VMI (0-8) and all would have a loss to Samford (4-4). The next tiebreaker goes to fewest points allowed in conference play. Furman is currently 16 points clear of Wofford for the AQ. If Furman surrenders more than 16 points, Wofford would get the AQ. If Furman and Wofford end up tied at 175 points allowed, Furman would win the AQ by virtue of its head-to-head win over Wofford.
NCAA FCS PLAYOFFS: Stay tuned on Sunday for updates on the NCAA FCS Playoffs. The selection show will air at 12:30 pm on ESPNU. NEW! CLEAR BAG POLICY: In an effort to enhance fan safety, Wofford Athletics has implemented a new clear bag policy at Gibbs Stadium. The policy is consistent with the NFL's current model and the policy at many other college and professional stadiums. Fans will be permitted to enter with a clear bag that does not exceed 12" in height by 6" in depth by 12" in width. A simple one-gallon clear plastic bag, such as a Ziploc bag or similar, is acceptable. Fans will be allowed to carry in a small clutch bag, approximately the size of a hand or 4.5" by 6.5", with or without a handle or strap. An exception will be made for medically necessary items after proper inspection at the game. Wofford will be providing 1,500 free clear bags thanks to Spartanburg Regional Healthcare System's Sports Medicine Institute. These bags will be available at all gates, as well as at the entrances to parking lots. For more information, including a list of approved and prohibited bags, please visit

Verandah Lot pass holders: Access to the Verandah Lot is unchanged from last season.
Wofford faculty and staff (Lot W parking pass required): The newly created "Lot W" will service
Wofford College faculty and staff on the lawn of Main Building. Access to Lot W is off of Evins Street across from the new Stewart H. Johnson Greek Village. Lot W passes must be picked up by College faculty/staff before Friday at Noon of game week.
General Parking: Parking for visitors and the general public remains $10 per car. There are two locations for General Parking - one is best accessed from Pine Street, turning onto Twitty Street. The lot surrounding Richardson Indoor Stadium has limited paid parking on gameday, handicapped accessibility and an additional grass parking area as well near the entrance to Carolina Panthers Training Camp. The other General Parking area (behind Lot P) is located off McDowell Street and is best accessed by using Cumming Street.Â
We appreciate your support of Terrier football as we continue to make gameday at Gibbs a convenient and enjoyable experience!
