SPARTANBURG, S.C. – Six different Terriers scored in double figures for the first time this season, as the Wofford women's basketball team took a commanding 107-30 win over Warren Wilson at Richardson Indoor Stadium on Tuesday night. The Terriers were scorching hot from 3-point land, connecting on a season-high 15-of-29 (52 percent) threes for the contest, while shooting an impressive 48 percent (39-81 FG) from the field. Wofford continues to remain unbeaten at home, with the win moving the Terriers to a 5-4 overall record as Warren Wilson drops to 3-8.

The Terriers started the game with a 5-0 run before Warren Wilson's Danasia Dumas would answer with her own 7-0 run to tie the game at 7-7. A
Niyah Lutz layup would spark a 7-0 run, seeing a layup from
Jamie Grob and a pair of jumpers from
Jackie Carman, pushing the score to 18-7 by the 2:19 mark, though, the score would remain stagnant by the end of the first quarter.

Wofford busted the game open with a 17-0 run to start the second quarter, as the Terriers held Warren Wilson scoreless through the first 6:15 of play.
Chloe Wanink would see 10 of her 25 points on the night in the run, which also included layups from
Jamari McDavid and
Marissa Bayer. Dumas continued to pace Warren Wilson, scoring seven of her 19 points in the frame, though, the Terriers steadily kept its scoring pace throughout the duration of the half. Wofford would end the quarter seeing it's largest lead of the half, 49-17, as
Da'Ja Green was able to find Wanink for a buzzer-beating 3-pointer to send both teams to the locker rooms.

The Terriers never looked back coming out the intermission, relentlessly extending the lead on a 22-0 run that pushed the score to 77-22 by the 2:43 mark. The Owls would manage to convert a pair of jumpers, though, scores from Lutz and
Cairo Booker, along with
Jackie Carman free throws, would make the score 86-26 at the end of the period.

Wofford cruised through the fourth quarter, only allowing Warren Wilson four points in the period. The Terriers continued to pour in baskets, as
MaryMartha Turner and
Cairo Booker would score seven and eight points respectively throughout the frame to eventually take a 107-30 victory by the end of regulation.

The Terriers exploded for 100+ points for the first time since their 104-57 win over Southern Wesleyan on November 16, 2017. Wofford also dished a season-high 27 assists in the contest, with the last time recording 20+ assists being against Bob Jones last season on November 28, 2017.

Wofford held Warren Wilson to 21 percent (11-52 FG, 4-26 3FG) shooting from the field for the contest, as the last time Wofford held a team to less than 30 percent shooting and less than 40 points was against Montreat on January 16, 2017. Additionally, the Terriers showed extreme activity on the defensive end, forcing 31 turnovers and tallying 22 steals for the first time since January 18, 2016, also against Montreat.

Chloe Wanink led the Terriers with a game-high 25 points on 9-of-10 shooting, while going 6-for-7 (86 percent) from beyond the arc in just 11 minutes.
Jackie Carman followed behind with a season-high 22 points (7-16 FG, 6-12 3FG), as
MaryMartha Turner notched a career-high performance (13 points, 15 rebounds, four assists, two steals, one block), earning her first career double-double while playing a season-high 31 minutes.

Freshman
Niyah Lutz also earned career-high numbers with 12 points, nine rebounds, four assists, and four steals, while
Cairo Booker saw season-highs as well, earning her first double-double of the season (12 points, 10 assists, four rebounds, four steals).
Marissa Bayer rounds out the double-figure scorers for Wofford, chipping in 11 points and three rebounds, along with an assist, block, and steal.

Jamie Grob finished with five points and a season-high 15 rebounds in 28 minutes, while
Jamari McDavid also finished with five points in the contest.

Next, the Terriers will travel to Farmville, Virginia to face Longwood for a 3 p.m. non-conference matchup.
