FARMVILLE, Va. - The Wofford women's basketball team exceeded the century mark in scoring for its second straight game for the first time in program history, earning a dominant 101-72 win over Longwood at Willett Hall on Saturday afternoon. The Terriers carried over their hot-shooting from Tuesday night, as they shot 50 percent (36-72 FG, 14-28 3FG) from the field for the contest. The win moves Wofford to 6-4 overall while Longwood drops to 1-4.

Longwood jumped out to an 11-4 lead before Jamari McDavid would respond with a layup, scoring the Terriers first six points of the contest. A 3-pointer by the Lancers went on to spark a 12-4 run to push the score to 20-8, forcing a Wofford timeout at the 4:07 mark. Coming out the timeout, Chloe Wanink connected on two jumpers before Jackie Carman would explode for three trey balls to cut the deficit to one, 22-21, over a three-minute span. The Lancers answered with a Mallory Odell jumper, as Da'Ja Green would find Wanink for a 3-pointer with time winding down to tie the game at 24-24 at the end of the first.
