SPARTANBURG, S.C. –The Wofford women's team came out on top in both matches on Saturday, as the Terriers swept King University and Emmanuel College, 7-0, at Reeves Tennis Center. The Terriers didn't allow for one single win throughout the two matches, as the two wins move Wofford to 6-1 overall.

Wofford started the match off making quick work of the Tornadoes in doubles, taking all three matches early on.

Freshman
Alexandra Hildell and sophomore
Brittney Wilbur made an impactful doubles debut on the No. 3 court, earning a 6-0 shutout against Isla Bell and Jennifer Harr.
Kay Kluska and
Lilie Steryous followed in their footsteps in No. 1 doubles, also recording a 6-0 shutout against Marilyn Roustand and Jordyn Karmatz.

Liz Massie and
Lauren Joch would then wrap things up on the No. 2 court, picking up a 6-2 win over Vanessa Francois and Lauren Smorgonosky.

The Terriers continued their dominance in singles play, highlighted by shutouts in four of the six singles matches.

Brittney Wilbur (No. 4) and
Alexandra Hildell (No. 5) continued their stellar play in singles, as Wilbur picked up her first singles win of the year (6-0, 6-0) over Karmatz, followed by Hildell with another shutout win over Harr.

Lilie Steryous delivered a shutout win over Roustand in No. 1 singles, as
Liz Massie (No. 3) and
Lauren Joch (No. 2) added wins on their respective courts shortly after.

Senior
Curran Carver then finished the match with the Terriers fourth shutout of the day in No. 6 singles over Bell to complete the 7-0 sweep.

The Terriers picked up where they left off, sweeping doubles play and singles play against Emmanuel as well.

Cassidy Hicks and
Jenna Vroman (No. 1) and
Kay Kluska and
Lilie Steryous (No. 2) picked up commanding 6-1 and 6-4 wins respectively, while
Liz Massie and
Lauren Joch (No. 3) added another 6-0 shutout to the day.

Hicks kept her unbeaten streak alive (6-0) in the No. 2 singles, shutting out Cipriano, 6-0, 6-0.
Liz Massie followed in No. 5 singles with a 6-2, 6-3 win over Castillon.

Steryous would then pick up a 6-1, 6-1 win over Rozadoz, as Kluska handled Raich in No. 4 singles, 6-3, 6-2.

Jenna Vroman would earn a solid comeback win on the No. 1 court, defeating Fantine Botella 4-6, 6-3, 10-8, while
Brittney Wilbur would end a superb day with a 6-3, 6-0 win against Victoria Silva to finish the 7-0 sweep over the Lions.

The Terriers return to the court on Tuesday, February 12, competing at Presbyterian. First serve is scheduled for 2 p.m.
