SPARTANBURG, S.C. – Sophomore
Harry Jones (-1) added a top-20 finish to his fall 2021 resume to lead Wofford (+13) to a ninth-place finish out of 12 teams at the Carolina Collegiate Invitational presented by BMW Performance Center on Tuesday afternoon, co-hosted by Wofford and USC Upstate, at the Carolina Country Club in Spartanburg, S.C.

Jones finished tied for 16
th as the lone Terrier to finish under par for the tournament, recording a 70 in Monday's first round with two birdies prior to firing an eagle on No. 5 and three birdies in the second round to register a 1-over-par 73. After opening the third 1-over on the front nine due to a morning delay at the hands of heavy fog, Jones settled in on the back nine in recording birdies on two of the last three holes to finish even on the day (72) for a total of 215.

Overall, Jones finished with 38 pars for the tournament, tying for second-most among the 83-player field. He also finished 7-under overall in par-5 scoring with 4.42 stroke average on par-5s – again tied for second-best among the field.

Additionally, Jones is ranked seventh in the Southern Conference with a 69.72 stroke average.

Wofford finished 13-over-par with a total score of 877, as High Point (-19) won the tournament's crown by two strokes over Florida Gulf Coast (-17), followed by UCF (-14). UCF's Johnny Travale (-7) took home individual medalist honors with a score of 209.

The Terriers scored wins over USC Upstate (+21), Charleston Southern (+30) and Winthrop (+35).

Junior
Matthew Larkin (+2) finished tied for 28th with a score of 218, followed by
Jackson Hill (+6) tied for 42
nd with a total of 222. Hill finished 1-under overall in par-3 scoring with a 2.92 average on par-3s, as the junior led the team with 11 birdies for the tournament.

Sophomore
Cedric Otten (+8) recorded a total of 224 to finish tied for 47
th, while freshman
Daniel Brasington (+19) finished tied for 70
th with a score of 235.
