The first set was played closesly, tied up at 15-15 midway through until back-to-back combination blocks from
Sarah Barham /
Mary Emily Morgan and Morgan /
Sarah MacLean forced an ETSU timeout at 17-15. Kills from Smith and Yaffa, along with ETSU errors, then pushed a 21-17 lead as the Bucs responded with a 3-0 run to come within one, 21-20. An ETSU block knotted the match briefly, though, the Bucs would squander the set with attack errors on four of the final five points to hand the first set to the Terriers, 25-21.

Wofford opened with a 6-2 lead to start the second before the Bucs settled in to come within one, 8-7. A Barham block put the Terriers back on serve, as Barham would land an ace prior to a Yaffa kill to build an 11-7 cushion.
Mary Emily Morgan would pace the Terriers with a pair of kills, as a Smith swing and another Barham solo block forced ETSU's first timeout at 18-13. Out of the break,
Kennedy Smith denied a Bucs swing at the net, followed by a Yaffa kill to burn their final timeout at 20-13. Another Smith kill ensued, as Barham then put the set away in dialing the final three kills to take the 25-14 advantage.

With all the momentum riding for Wofford, the third set was all the Terriers, busting out a 10-4 lead expeditiously through the opening rallies. The Terriers' offensive prowess showed in the third, hitting .375 in the frame, as Wofford landed point after point to build an eight-point lead by ETSU's final timeout, 17-9. The Bucs played into eight errors throughout the set, as a pair of Smith kills and Hubbard swing pushed a double-digit spread at 21-10. From there, Barham and Smith would close things out, securing a combination block at 23-10, as Barham swung home a kill for set-point prior to Smith ending the match with a huge solo block, 25-11.

ETSU was led by Samantha Shafer with eight kills, one block and one dig.
