SPARTANBURG, S.C. – Senior
Ryan Marter (-6) sits atop the individual leaderboard after the first two rounds of action at the Wofford Invitational, as the Terriers sit in third place after 36 holes of action at the Country Club of Spartanburg.

Marter was clicking on all cylinders throughout the day, blazing seven birdies in the first round for a 3-under-par 69 prior to recording an eagle on No. 5 to open the second round and tally a trio of birdies on the back nine to conclude with another 69 for the day. Marter also leads the field in par-4s at 2-under entering Tuesday's final round.

Wofford (-8) finished 1-over-par in the second round to conclude a two-round total of 568, as Georgia State (-13) leads the field, followed by Western Carolina (-11) just three strokes ahead of the old gold and black. The Terriers are currently 12 strokes ahead of the next closest team (Francis Marion, +4).

Sophomore
Matthew Larkin (-4) sits in the top 10, tied for fifth, after opening with a stellar 6-under-par 66, a career and tournament round-low, on eight birdies in the first round. Larkin then leveled off in the second, finishing the back nine even for a 74 to keep him in the hunt.

Matt Teaster (+2), competing as part of the Wofford B team amongst the field, sits tied for 17
th after a solid first day that featured a first-round 71 and 3-over-par 75 in the second.
Matthew Copeland (+3),
Nick Willis (+3) and
Jackson Hill (+3) all remain tied for 26
th entering tomorrow's final round of action.

Tuesday's marks the final round of competition at the Country Club of Spartanburg, as first tee is slated for 8 a.m., while Wofford is slated for a 9:30 a.m. first tee. Wofford B will tee off at 8:54 a.m.
