GREENSBORO N.C. – The Wofford women's soccer team fell 0-4 on the road to UNCG Sunday afternoon. The loss drops the Terriers' record to 7-6-3 (2-3-2 SoCon).
 
The Spartans netted back-to-back goals in the 17th and 18th minutes to put UNCG on top early in the match.
 
Meara Kelly had a chance to cut into the UNCG lead in the 23rd minute, but her shot was sent right into the hands of the Spartan keeper. Kelly had another chance in the following minutes, but couldn't sneak the ball past the defense.
 
The Spartans soon after scored their third goal of the game, taking a 3-0 lead into halftime. UNCG opened the second half with its fourth goal 37 seconds into the half.
 
Megan Childress had back-to-back chances to put Wofford on the board in the 57th minute, but Abby Buchholz came up with two saves for the Spartans.

UNCG out-shot the Terriers 16-9 and 6-5 in shots on goal.
The Spartans had the advantage in corner kicks 8-3.
Wofford falls to 1-25-5 all-time against UNCG.
