MACON, Ga. – The Wofford women's lacrosse team fell in a midweek Big South matchup at Mercer on Wednesday, 20-5, at Five Star Stadium in Macon, Ga. Senior attacker
Elisabeth Ralph led with a pair of goals, while six other Terriers earned points, as the loss moves the Terriers to 3-9 overall and 1-4 in league action.

Ralph led the way with two goals to mark 23 scores on the season, in addition to a ground ball, as senior
Shannon Wulff added a goal and two ground balls.

Brenna Duley scored her fourth goal of the year, while junior
Cailin Cardillo notched her first career goal as a Terrier to round out the scoring.

Kirsten Flannigan led with a team-high three draw controls and two ground balls, followed by a pair of draw controls each from juniors
Emma Krasinski and
Leah Hurley. Senior
Emma Seif recorded two draw controls and ground balls apiece, in addition to a caused turnover.
Moira Carroll added two ground balls and a caused turnover defensively, while senior
Abbi Pagano and freshman
Mia McCarthy recorded a ground ball and caused turnover each additionally.

Ella Smithers added two.

Turnovers plagued Wofford throughout the match, 16-6, while the Bears outshot the Terriers 38-12 on the afternoon.
