SPARTANBURG, S.C. – The Wofford women's soccer team dropped a hard-fought contest at Snyder Field 0-1 to Campbell. The Camels netted the game-winning goal at the 68:10 mark.

The first half was quiet for both sides, with the Terriers holding a slim 5-4 shot advantage.
Mia Bookhard was able to rattle off a shot on goal in the fourth minute, but the shot was saved by the Campbell goalkeeper.

Leanna Guion was able to record another shot on goal just shy of the 30th minute, but another save by Stephanie Martelli kept the match scoreless. Both teams remained scoreless through halftime.

It wasn't until a goal from Elyssa Nowowieski in the 68th minute that Campbell was able to snap the scoreless battle and take the lead.

Wofford's best chance to tie the match came at the 72nd minute when
Caileen Almeida fired one past the Campbell defense, but the shot sailed off the crossbar.
