GREENSBORO, Ga. – The Wofford men's golf team spent the last three days competing in the Linger Longer Invitational at the par-72, 7,436-yard Great Waters Golf Course, playing to a 14
th-place finish with a score of 906.
The Terriers carded 299-309-298 to score 906, 42-over par, and finish 14
th in the 16-team field. Wofford topped Kennesaw State and Augusta.
No. 20 Alabama won the event with a 14-under 850. The field featured seven ranked squads, including the top-ranked Vanderbilt team in third place.
Harry Jones was the top Terrier in the tournament, tying for 45
th with an 8-over 224 score. Jones carded 78-74-72, utilizing that improved final round to move up 10 spots on the last day. With 40 pars, Jones recorded the third most in the field.
Alabama's Nick Dunlap, ranked 33
rd in the nation, carded a 10-under 206 to win low medalist honors in the 91-player field.

th,
Matthew Larkin scored 226 while carding 74-76-76.
Cedric Otten (72-84-75) placed in a tie for 68
th with a score of 231.
Ben Jordan (75-75-83) carded 233 to place in a tie for 76
th.
Walker Jones (82-88-75) rounds out the Wofford lineup in a tie for 89
th.
The Terriers will be back in action from April 3-4 when they host their annual Wofford Intercollegiate. The three-round, two-day event will take place at the Country Club of Spartanburg.
