From The Athletics Director's Desk - December

Final exams for the fall semester wrapped up last week, and we have officially entered the holiday season. Fall sports ended with the volleyball team repeating as Southern Conference Tournament Champions, putting together a thrilling come-from-behind victory over Mercer in the title game. The Terriers traveled to Baylor for the opening round of the NCAA Tournament, which was a great experience for the team despite not advancing. Both basketball teams are playing their final non-conference games before beginning the Southern Conference schedule in January. Speaking of schedules, we have announced all the spring sports schedules, which can be found at www.woffordterriers.com.

TERRIER CLUB UPDATE
The Terrier Club received incredible support during "A Day for Wofford" on Nov. 14. Throughout the day, 393 individual donors donated over $350,000 to support student-athletes. So far this year, the Terrier Club has raised $2.9 million through annual giving and athletics excellence funds. With year-end giving still underway, the Terrier Club is on track to achieve its best fundraising year since 2021 and the highest number of donors since 2020. Click here to make your gift!

UPCOMING BASKETBALL PROMOTIONS
After spending most of November and December on the road, the Wofford men's and women's basketball teams will return to action at Jerry Richardson Indoor Stadium later this month. Several promotions highlight the upcoming home schedule, including a Teddy Bear Toss and Youth Basketball Days. Click here for all of the upcoming promotions.

GROUP BASKETBALL TICKETS ON SALE
Do you have a group that would like to attend a men's or women's basketball game? Wofford athletics can provide group ticket rates this season for any group of 10 or more fans. The group will be in a reserved block of seats, and you will have an opportunity to take a group picture on the court after the game! We also can help with birthday parties and other special events. Please contact Devin Foster at devin@terriersportsproperties.com or 864-515-6142 for more information or to purchase your group tickets.

BASKETBALL FLOOR SEATS AVAILABLE
To provide more of our fans the chance to be close to the action, we have added 10 floor seats for men's basketball games. Seats are available based on Terrier Club priority points and giving levels of $2,500 a year or more. Snacks and a special halftime treat are provided for all floor seats this season. Ticket holders can now access their seats from the ground level instead of the concourse level as well. For more information, please contact Patrick Wheeler at wheelerpk@wofford.edu.

WOMEN'S SOCCER UPDATE
In November, we decided to make a change in the leadership of the women's soccer program. The search for a new head coach is currently underway, and we have had strong interest in the position. We hope to announce the new head coach in the upcoming weeks.

RICHARDSON INDOOR STADIUM CONCESSIONS
In response to popular demand, beer will now be available in the general seating area of Jerry Richardson Indoor Stadium, in addition to Club 51. A limited selection will be offered at the concession stand near Section 105, and a wristband will be required for purchase. Club 51 will remain the exclusive area in the stadium serving wine and craft beer. Additionally, Club 51 members will enjoy discounted pricing on beer compared to concession stand prices.

MEN'S BASKETBALL PREGAME HOSPITALITY
Collegiate Circle members of the Terrier Club who are men's basketball season ticket holders will have the exclusive opportunity to purchase pregame hospitality access in the Jerry Richardson Indoor Stadium before Saturday Southern Conference games. This will begin with the Jan. 18 game against Mercer. Stay tuned for more details!
