SPARTANBURG, S.C. – The Wofford volleyball team took down The Citadel Bulldogs in straight sets on Saturday night inside of Jerry Richardson Indoor Stadium. The Terriers improve to 11-10, 7-3, while The Citadel falls to 0-20, 0-10.
Natalie Arnold, who recorded three blocks on the night, totaled her 100
th career rejection.

Bradley Brown led the efforts on the offensive end, totaling 10 kills while hitting .350.
Chloe Smith recorded eight kills along with seven from
Natalie Arnold. Arnold was also apart of the blocking attack, assisting on three swats. Pacing the team at the net was
Annemarie Rakoski, who rejected eight attacks – two of which were solo.
Bradley Brown finished with four, and
Ella Coleman had three.

Taylor Pecht was just short of a double-double, handing out 20 assists to go along with nine digs.
Maddy Frazier also recorded 12 helpers. Leading the dig department was
Laney Klika, who had a match-high 19 digs. Klika and
Chloe Smith served up two aces apiece as well.

As a team, Wofford finished with 37 kills while hitting .250. The Citadel had 26 kills and hit .010. The duo of Pecht and Frazier led the team to 36 assists compared to 25 from The Citadel. The Terriers dominated the net once again, posting 12 blocks to The Citadel's two. Wofford had six service aces compared to two from The Citadel.

Set one was Wofford all the way, as the team took a quick 2-0 lead and did not look back from there.
Natalie Arnold sparked the big run, tallying back-to-back kills.
Laney Klika followed that up with a service ace. That gave Wofford the cushion it needed as the team took set one 25-15.

The Citadel led early in the second stanza, but Wofford used three-straight points to take a 6-3 advantage. The Terriers finally extended the lead after a 7-1 run. A pair of kills from
Ella Coleman and an
Annemarie Rakoski kill highlighted the run. Wofford would keep the momentum and grab set two 25-14.

The Terriers jumped ahead in the final set of the match. Six-straight points from Wofford allowed the team to gain a comfortable lead, and the Terriers did not let up for the remainder of the stanza. Despite The Citadel's best efforts, Wofford would win 3-0 against The Citadel for the second time this season.

The Terriers will host both Chattanooga and Samford next weekend. On October 31, Chattanooga will visit with first serve set for 6:00 p.m. Samford will be in town the following day as Wofford will celebrate its two seniors before the match.
