SPARTANBURG, S.C. –Wofford defensive back Maximus Pulley has been named to multiple All-America teams following the season. In addition to being a first-team selection by the AP, Stats Perform, and AFCA, he was named to the FCS Football Central second team,

Pulley, a fifth-year senior from Fort Worth, Texas, started eleven games for the Terriers this season and is second on the team in tackles with 85. His five interceptions lead the Southern Conference and are the second-most in the nation. He returned two interceptions for touchdowns, which is tied for the most in the nation. Pulley added 2.5 tackles for loss, five pass break-ups, one forced fumble, a fumble recovery, and a blocked punt. A finalist for the Buck Buchanan Award, he finished ninth in the voting.

"We are proud of Maximus for receiving these well-deserved honors," said head coach Shawn Watson. "He made the decision to come back to Wofford for his fifth year to finish what he started with this team. He bet on himself, continued to develop, and the result is being named an All-American. As a Wofford graduate, we look forward to following his career in the future."

Pulley is the first Terrier to earn AFCA and AP All-America honors since 2019 (Blake Jeresaty) and the first to be named an All-American since Nathan Walker in the 2020-21 spring season.
